Thank you for shopping with Saree Tales, your trusted destination for authentic handloom sarees crafted by skilled Indian weavers. We take great care to ensure your sarees are delivered safely and on time. Please read our shipping policy below.
Shipping Coverage
We currently deliver across India through reliable courier partners such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, and India Post.
International shipping is available to select countries. For international orders, please contact us at sini@saree-tales.com. before placing your order to confirm availability and estimated shipping costs.
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 2–4 business days after payment confirmation.
Each saree is carefully checked, packed, and dispatched with quality assurance.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. In such cases, we will notify you by email.
Delivery Time
Domestic Orders (India):
Estimated delivery time: 2–5 business days, depending on your location.
Deliveries to remote or rural areas may take slightly longer.
International Orders:
Estimated delivery time: 10–20 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance.
Customs duties, taxes, or import charges (if applicable) are the buyer’s responsibility.
Shipping Charges
Within India: We offer free shipping on all prepaid orders only. We do not recommend cash on delivery, as we need to bear the fees of shipping agency for managing the cash.
International Orders: Shipping charges are calculated based on destination and package weight. Customers will be informed of exact charges before the dispatch. The shipping charges during check out may show as 0 (Zero) for simplicity.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email and/or SMS notification with the tracking number and a tracking link. You can use this link to track your shipment’s status in real time.
Delays and Non-Delivery
We strive to ensure timely deliveries, but delays may occur due to:
- Unforeseen courier or logistics issues
- Weather conditions or natural disruptions
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
Saree Tales is not liable for delays caused by courier partners or factors beyond our control. If your parcel is significantly delayed, please contact us at sini@saree-tales.com. and we will do everything that is under our control to assist you.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Please ensure your shipping details are accurate and complete at checkout.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or non-collection, re-shipping charges will apply.
Packaging and Handling
Each saree is carefully folded, wrapped in eco-friendly materials, and securely packed to ensure safe delivery. We avoid excessive plastic use and promote sustainable packaging wherever possible.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If you receive a damaged parcel, please do not accept the package and inform the courier immediately. If you have already accepted it and find the product damaged inside, contact us within 48 hours at sini@saree-tales.com. with photos of the packaging and item. We will assess the situation and provide an appropriate resolution.
Saree Tales is not responsible for lost packages once they have been marked as delivered by the courier service.
