Shipping & Delivery Policy



At Saree Tales, we take great pride in delivering your handpicked sarees with the same care and love with which they are woven.

Shipping Locations

  • We currently ship Pan-India.
  • International shipping can be arranged on request (please contact us before placing an order).

Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days.
  • Once shipped, we’ll send you an email and SMS with your tracking details.
  • If we anticipate any delay, we’ll notify you proactively.
  • Made-to-order or pre-order sarees may take additional time (details will be mentioned on the product page).

Delivery Timelines

  • Metro cities (India): Estimated delivery within 2–4 working days from dispatch.
  • Non-metro cities (India): Estimated delivery within 5–7 working days from dispatch.
  • International orders: Typically delivered within 10–15 working days, depending on destination and customs clearance.

Note: Timelines are indicative and may vary due to logistics constraints, weather, local holidays, or other unforeseen factors.

Order Tracking

After dispatch, you’ll receive an AWB number and a tracking link on your registered email and mobile number. Use the link to track your shipment in real time.

Important for Deliveries within India

  • A valid 10-digit Indian mobile number is required for delivery.
  • Some couriers use OTP-based delivery. If OTP is not received/confirmed, delivery may fail and the parcel may return to our warehouse.
  • In such cases, re-shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

Shipping Charges

Within India

  • Free shipping on all prepaid orders.
  • Cash-on-Delivery (COD): COD handling charge of ₹150 applies to all COD orders.

International Shipping

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination.
  • Orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis.
  • Duties & Taxes: Import duties, customs fees, and local taxes (if applicable) must be paid by the recipient in the destination country.
  • If duties/taxes are unpaid, the shipment may be held by customs or returned. In such cases, outbound shipping is non-refundable and any return charges will be deducted from refunds if applicable.

Address Accuracy & Delivery Attempts

  • Please ensure your shipping address and contact details are accurate and complete at checkout.
  • If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address/phone or repeated non-availability, re-delivery or re-shipping charges may apply.
